Whole-home DVR will be the killer application for MoCA in the connected home, but it will also be the enabler for web video streaming, sharing audio and video libraries from PC to TV, online gaming, room-to-room gaming and video teleconferencing. So says Patrick Henry, President & CEO of Entropic Communications, who expects MoCA to be deployed globally. He believes it will provide the in-home broadband backbone to a unified Wi-Fi/wired home network that will link all the islands of digital entertainment.
