The versatile, comprehensive unit allows service providers to provision homeowners with the latest DSL broadband access and coax home entertainment network technologies, while also supporting USB peripherals and an Ethernet-based LAN.

The NexusLink CT-5633 is a breakthrough for providers and homeowners alike. The device includes support for standards based Bonded ADSL2+; Entropic Communications c.LINK™ chipset as the entertainment LAN for MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) via cable port; and USB-based host and device hookups suitable for a hard drive, printer or other peripheral device. Four RJ-45 Ethernet LAN ports allow homeowners to connect up to four PCs directly, while the built-in WiFi 802.11g capability enables connectivity for a wide variety and number of wireless devices.

Leading Standard
The NexusLink CT-5633's support for MoCA puts it at the leading edge of the next wave of digital entertainment services. MoCA, an initiative of major communications companies, supports video, voice and data at data rates of up to 270 Mbps over coax lines in a consumers' home. Speeds are suitable for multiple HDTV channels as well as SDTV or audio streaming.
